The warm spell has spurred my seeds into growth and now there are ten pots of tiny seedlings starting to grow. It’s mostly the salad and veg that have come up first but one or two flowers including the rudbeckia are also starting to show. Read more…

Plants are absolutely amazing. I’ve always thought that, but a recent visit to the Giant vegetable Championships at the Bath & West Showground was simply awesome. On show were hundreds of obese vegetables, fed to bursting with all manner of secret concoctions, animal manure and goodness knows what else. Read more…
